Who Should Attend

Professionals interested to build a career in Analytics; the business analytics program would demand adequate familiarity with high-school level mathematics.


  • At least graduation in Science or Engineering with minimum 50% marks
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience and currently employed
Desired Proficiency in the Candidate (in addition to the Eligibility Criteria) –
  • Proficiency in English since it would be the medium of instruction.
  • Basic numerical ability and mathematical skills - including Algebra (e.g. Equation of Straight Line), Basic Differential & Integral Calculus and Ability to Interpret Graphs.

 rahul_roy_iimcDr. Rahul Roy is a Professor in the Management Information Systems at IIMC. Dr. Roy holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Management from IIT Kharagpur, an M.Tech. in System Engineering and Management and a B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, also from IIT Kharagpur. He has worked in Tata Motors Ltd. and Computer Aided Management Center at IIMC in the past. His research interests include Evolution of Social Networking Platforms, Dynamics of Software Projects and Adoption of Course Management Systems and some of his consulting interests are in the areas of Model based problem solving and Strategic Planning for Indian ITES sector. Dr. Roy teaches the following courses at IIMC - Spreadsheet Modelling, Business Dynamics, Software Project Dynamics, Perspectives on Software Business.
 anup_sen_iimc Dr. Anup Sen is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Computer Science from Calcutta University, India. He also holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science, a B.Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication and a B.Sc. in Physics from Calcutta University, India. Apart from teaching at IIMC, in his distinguished career, Dr. Sen has conducted many courses in various US universities as a visiting faculty. His major research interest lies in workflow modeling and verification, combinatorial auctions, theory and applications of heuristic search methods, constraint satisfaction problems, meta-heuristic techniques, single machine job sequencing. Dr. Sen has taught intermediate and advanced level computer and information system courses at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Pennsylvania State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology (USA), Jadavpur University (India) and Calcutta University (India) to graduate and post-graduate students.
